Destiny childs- 'Emotions'
For my best form of a music video i chose to look at Destiny childs 'Emotions' because it has a good structure for a mucis video.
The main narrative for this video is about 3 different people going through different aspects in their life and how their emotion gets out of their control.
The general artists postion within this narrative is that all band members are partcipants.The is an equal focus on all them, giving a 3 way persperctive of each scenerio. By all members participating it promotes each equally to audience because we as an audience can clearly see how indivdual they ompared to each other, for example Kelly's clothing is different to Michelle's. furthermore with the screen divided in three it makes all members the main focus, however as usaual the lead singer is placed in the centre
We do see the artists sing but mainly in the chourus as they are joined as a group only at the time, by doing this they allow more narrative and illustration through the versus.
when watching this video i also realised that their was a small amount of editing such as jump cut and match cuts because there was morecamera movements such as panning.
