Pitch Q7: How We're Following Goodwins Theory

Briefly outline how your video follows Goodwin's theory on music video (narrative, performance or image) and how you feel this will appeal to your audience.

Our chosen music video follows Goodwin’s theory on a narrative basis. We thought it would be best to create the music video by amplifying and illustrating the lyrics and maybe interpreting it in a different way than the literal meaning. We truly believe that this will help enhance the audience’s already existing knowledge on the lyrics. Also by choosing to amplify and illustrate the lyrics, the scenario we are creating in our music video will come across as more realistic and this will allow the viewer to connect with the video and vice verca. Similarly by doing this, we are portraying the way we want our video to be depicted but also leaving some aspects to their imagination as maybe it’s something they've been through or understand in a different manner to how we've created it.  Therefore, we feel this will appeal to our audience as already said, it will relate to them on a personal level and the edits/transitions we want to use we feel will help emphasize the amplification and illustration of our video and keep our audience interested and engaged.
