pitch question 5

Core Audience.
We feel that our music genre should appeal to young adults between the age of 15 and 18. Our video shoud appeal to them because of the fast, up-beat tempo that comes with the genre, and dubstep music is mainly played in clubs.
The mise en scene and props will appeal to our core audience because of clothing and location. The clothing that we have chosen to use in our video will be casual everday clothing were young people can relate to. Causual and trendy costume/clothing will appeal to our core audience because the youth loves to keep up with the latests fashion. As for where we have chosen to set our video will hopefullt appeal to our target audience because we have chosen urban locations.
we hope our editing to appeal to our audience because we plan to use a range of editing techniques, such as editing with the same pace as the beat of our song.
An example of average audience

Wider Audience
Although dubstep first started in south london, we will like our video to have a wider range of audience and relate to more people.
Looking at Katy B's official facebook page we found that majority of her listeners and fans are groufrom outside of london and western european countries, so hopefully our video will appeal to their standards of dubstep music.
Our video can appeal to a more wider audience in terms of a ower age because of the lyrics of the song, as it talks about meeting someone new and liking them.
The original artist and our performer are both female, however a majority of Katy B music appeals to the male audience compared to female so we want our video to have the same amount of famale listeners as males.
