We would like our artist to be signed to a Major record company and we have chosen Sony music entertainment: Columbia. We believe that a major record company can give our artists the maximum support that would make them successful and well known. Because Sony music entertainment is a well known label we feel that it would give out artist a good amount of production funding that will help promote the artist be having a good video and good studio equipment needed to make a high quality track.

We also believe that Columbia records will give our artist advice and support on image, advice on songs and promotion. With their advice and guidance we feel that our artist music will be in the market sooner and will be well known.

Columbia records is an American record label which can be good for the artist because they can be more diverse with their music producing. Also a majority of American artists are well known internationally so hopefully our artist will have a wider audience which will be good for touring.

Artists that are currently signed under Columbia Records are; Alexis Jordan, Areosmith, magnetic man, Bow wow, Susan Boyle, Calvin Harris etc.

Artists that are signed to Columbia Records That are similar to our artists are Magnetic Man and Calvin Harris. The main similarity between them is that their all UK artists and are included in the same Genre of music.

We want our song to mainly available for Internet download and through the use of itunes. This is because there is a large amount of consumers downloading music online, also because of our target audience we feel it will be easier for them to download on the Internet whether at home or on the go.
